We are very pleased to have completed the move to our new warehouse. We’re still based in Swindon, in fact not very far from the old site, but in every other way it’s an entirely different place. You can see some photographs of the new warehouse before we moved in below.
We’re still based in Swindon, in fact not very far from the old site, but in every other way it’s an entirely different place. Those of you who visited Unit 2, Station Industrial Estate will know it wasn’t the most pleasant of places to work. The old railway sheds built in the 1840s were very much designed for their purpose and very much not designed for a business that’s growing, in the 21st Century. Never-the-less it was with a slightly heavy heart when we moved out. Those buildings helped us grow from a fledgling startup to the company we are today.
So 2015 heralds something of a new start. We have far more office space than we currently need, they’re bright, with lots of natural light, newly decorated and are far more enjoyable places to work. The team at Swindon have put in an enormous amount of work getting the new building ready, moving everything between the two sites, while keeping the business running at the same time.
We're now fully moved and the new place is already beginning to feel like our own.
